Terms of service
Last updated October 15, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and [Company legal name] (“we”, “us”), which runs Inkvert at inkvert.com. By using Inkvert you agree to them. If you use it for a business, you agree on behalf of that business.
The service
Inkvert turns documents and text you provide into designed formats such as ebooks, lead magnets, guides, reports, slide decks and social carousels, which you can preview, edit, restyle, download and publish as flipbooks. You can try it without an account; downloads and saved documents need one. We may change or improve features over time.
Your account
You need to be at least 16 to use Inkvert. Keep access to your email and Google account secure, since that’s how you sign in, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You’re responsible for what happens under it.
Your content
You keep all rights to the documents you upload and to the documents Inkvert generates for you. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display that content only to run the service for you (including sending it to the AI and text-recognition providers listed in our privacy policy), and, for flipbooks you publish, to show them to anyone with the link. We don’t use your content to train AI models.
You confirm you have the right to use what you upload, and that it and what you publish don’t infringe anyone’s rights or break the law.
AI-generated output
Inkvert uses AI to restructure and rewrite your content. AI output can contain mistakes, omissions or wording you wouldn’t choose, so review every document before you rely on it or share it. You’re responsible for what you publish. Output for different users may be similar, and we don’t guarantee that output is unique or free of third-party rights.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Inkvert to:
- upload or publish illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing or sexually exploitative content, or other people’s private data without a right to;
- create spam, scams, malware or deceptive material, or impersonate others;
- probe, overload or get around the service’s security, rate limits or payment, or scrape or resell it without our permission;
- reverse-engineer the service or use it to build a competing product.
We may remove content or flipbooks, or suspend accounts, that break these rules.
Payments
Purchases are processed by Polar (polar.sh), our reseller and merchant of record. Polar sells the product to you, takes payment, charges any sales tax or VAT and issues your receipt, and its buyer terms apply to the transaction. Prices are shown before you pay.
- One-time purchases (a single format, the launch kit, add-ons) unlock the formats you bought for that document, for as long as Inkvert runs.
- Pro is a subscription billed monthly or every 3 months, as you choose at checkout. It renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. Cancel any time from Billing in your dashboard; you keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for. We’ll tell you in advance before a price change applies to your subscription.
Refunds
Every purchase comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you’re not happy, reply to your receipt or email support@inkvert.com within 30 days of the payment and we’ll refund it in full: no forms, no questions. For Pro this covers each payment within 30 days of it. A refunded purchase’s formats are locked again. This doesn’t limit any rights you have under consumer law.
Flipbooks
A published flipbook is visible to anyone with its link and shows a “Made with Inkvert” link. It stays online until you remove it, your account is closed, or we remove it under these terms.
Our rights
Inkvert’s software, designs, templates, styles and brand belong to us or our licensors. You may use the templates and styles as part of the documents you make with Inkvert, including commercially, but not extract them to offer as templates of your own.
Ending
You can stop using Inkvert at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we discontinue the service; if we discontinue it, we’ll give reasonable notice so you can download your documents, and refund any unused prepaid Pro period.
Disclaimers
Inkvert is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of important documents.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim relating to Inkvert is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims by others arising from content you upload or publish, or from your breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [Governing law and courts], and disputes go to its courts. If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in and can bring claims in its courts.
Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top and, for material changes, tell account holders by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Inkvert after that means you accept the new terms.
